To Sign up for this class you need to submit a registration application. We currently do not have an online payment option and accept cash or check on the first day of class. Any questions please contact us at natureexplorershc@gmail.com. You can register here and then we will send you the application. The cost per student is $50 for the semester plus a $20 supply cost per family. (There is a multi- student family discount- please message us if you need assistance with fees) Our co-op meets one day per week for a 3-hour immersive learning experience over the course of a 12-week semester. Each semester is thoughtfully designed around engaging themes that integrate nature studies, science, STEAM, outdoor skills, creative projects, and character development in a way that feels alive and memorable for children. The Nature Explorers Spring semester begins each year in February and runs through the first week of May, allowing families to enjoy a rich season of learning while still maintaining a balanced family rhythm throughout the fall season. Our program currently includes: *Nature’s Nest (K4–3rd Grade) — focused on exploration, sensory learning, creativity, and foundational discovery * Nature Explorers (4th–8th Grade) — focused on project-based learning, leadership, collaboration, and deeper scientific exploration Throughout the semester, students experience a blend of: * Outdoor exploration and nature walks * Hands-on science and STEAM projects * Group collaboration and leadership opportunities * Creative building and open-ended discovery * Social connection and community learning * Themed learning adventures and field experiences Nature Explorers is designed to feel less like a traditional classroom and more like a connected learning community where children are encouraged to explore with curiosity, build meaningful friendships, and develop a lifelong love for learning through real-world experiences.
